Eileen Finn & Associates was founded in 1998 as an executive search firm with a practice specialty in Human Resources across diverse functions and industry sectors. Throughout Eileen’s professional career, she has advised/coached candidates and clients in the course of her executive search activities. The Firm has grown to providing talent solutions including executive/ career coaching as well as strategic placement of interim HR talent. In 2013, she received her executive coaching certification through the iCoach program which is sponsored by Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business. In 2017 she completed the Hogan Assessment certification.
Eileen brings more than thirty years of business experience to her executive coaching practice including twenty years in executive search and talent assessment. Prior to starting her firm, Eileen was President and Managing Director of the MVP Group (a firm specializing in the financial services industry) and Director of Human Resources at Coopers & Lybrand (PWC) for their Actuarial, Benefits and Compensation Consulting (ABC) practice in New York and HSBC. At Coopers & Lybrand, Eileen provided HR expertise with particular focus on advising the 26 North American Practice offices on talent development and acquisition.
Eileen has been involved with talent assessment and selection for her clients in a wide array of sectors/industries which has included financial and professional services, technology, pharmaceutical/bio-tech, retail/luxury and consumer packaged goods. Her success has been due in large part to her organizational and business experience and understanding, ability to work across a diverse group of client companies and her consultative approach with clients and candidates.
Eileen’s edge as a coach is her commitment to the relationship, knowledge of various corporate organizations and cultures, her direct and honest feedback/communication style and helping her clients find joy in their work and performing at their highest potential.
Her engagements include on-boarding, executive/leadership coaching and career/transition coaching. She uses the feedback from the 360 process to coach her clients to develop an alignment with key stakeholders, work towards expectations, encouraging them to perform at their highest potential and to accept honest and direct feedback.
Eileen graduated from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business with an MBA and received her BA in English Literature from Rosemont College.
Eileen plays an active role within the industry, serving on Boards and Advisory Committees on Best Practices and Program Development. She currently serves on the planning and membership committees as well as serving on the Americas Council for the AESC (Association of Executive Search & Leadership Consultants). In addition, she served as Vice President of the Parent Board of Bucknell University and previously for the University of Pennsylvania. She currently serves as a Director for the Alumni Board of Rosemont College.
