Eileen Finn founded Eileen Finn & Associates
in 1998, specializing in the placement of top human resource executives.
Eileen brings more than twenty-five years
of experience to the firm, including twenty years in executive recruiting
and sourcing. She was President and Managing Director of the MVP Group,
a recruiting firm specializing in financial services, and Director
of Human Resources at Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers)
for its Actuarial, Benefits and Compensation Consulting practice. |

Alane, a recognized and respected former senior HR executive with a track record building and running successful HR organizations, brings seasoned experience to search. Her competencies in talent acquisition, recruitment, client consulting, individual and organizational development, compensation, benefits, employee relations and HR systems, including in-depth knowledge of the HR function, make her uniquely qualified to partner with clients in identifying and retaining top talent to build high performance teams and organizations.
Prior to joining Eileen Finn & Associates, Alane was Global Director of Human Resources for Avenue Capital Group where she developed the HR function for this global hedge fund with over $20 billion in assets under management. Previously, she was Vice President of Human Resources for Warburg Pincus, the private equity firm. She worked for a decade for Ogden Corporation, a diversified services firm with over 20,000 employees, eventually heading Human Resources, having begun her tenure as Director of Compensation and Systems.
Alane holds a Masters Degree in Industrial/Labor Relations from Cornell University/Baruch College and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Cornell University.
She is a member of Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), Human Resources Planning Society (HRPS), Financial Women’s Association, and 100 Women in Hedge Funds. Alane was Chairperson of the Private Equity HR Roundtable in 2007.
